Wine AdvocateComposed of 42% Grenache, 36% Syrah, 14% Mourvèdre, 4% Counoise and 4% Cinsault, the 2015 M5 White displays a medium garnet-purple color and nose of black cherries and red plums with hints of Chinese five spice, dried roses and black pepper. The spicy red fruit fills the medium-bodied palate, framed by chewy tannins and plenty of freshness, finishing long and peppery.
Wine EnthusiastThis is one of the more popular releases from Santa Barbara each vintage-always fresh, fruity and quaffable. This year's blend of 42% Grenache, 36% Syrah, 14% Mourvèdre, 4% Counoise and 4% Cinsaut from nine vineyards shows strawberry and rosewater aromas. The palate is light and bright with cola and raspberry flavors. A happy sunny day wine.
