An opaque purple color is followed by dense aromas of black fruits intertwined with earth, camphor, and licorice characteristics. This medium to full-bodied, lusciously-styled port possesses excellent purity, a layered mouthfeel, and a long finish. Anticipated maturity: 2007-2019.

Beautiful aromas of currants and plums with hints of earth. Medium-bodied, with fine tannins and a medium sweet finish. A refined and balanced young Port. Very pretty and better than when I tasted it from barrel. Best after 2009. 3,000 cases made.
