Funky Jory is a love letter to the deep red Jory soil that defines the Dundee Hills growing region of Oregon's Willamette Valley. A lighter body with flavors of forest floor, bright red fruit and a mysterious minerality make this a classically Oregon Pinot with a big nod to the Old World.
The wine opens with complex aromatics of dried cherry, wild strawberry, damp earth, and a touch of baking spice aroma from the sparing use of new French oak barrels. The finish is silky and long, typical of Dundee Hills Pinot Noir.
