|Region||United States, Washington, Horse Heaven Hills|
|Brand||Chateau Ste. Michelle|
Cream, spice and roasted squash aromas draw you into the glass. The palate is graceful and elegant, with impeccable balance to the stone fruit and pumpkin flavors throughout, along with a pretty sense of texture. A lingering finish caps it off. It walks the tightrope perfectly.
Soft and delicate, with forward apple and spiced pear flavors that finish on a floral accent. Drink now.
The 2017 Chardonnay Mimi is available for on-premise only. The nose begins with a clean, elegant core of aromas, with classic expressions of fresh pomaceous fruit, citrus tones and subtle oak. The wine is delicate clean and expressive in the mouth, with a smooth and lingering finish, ending just a touch hot.
Bright, pale yellow. Subtle vanillin oak overlays peach, lemon, quince and yellow apple on the rather delicate but varietally expressive nose. Not particularly intense or concentrated, but supple and easygoing, with its fruit flavors joined by anise and spices. Ultimately a bit dilute, this wine tails off a little on the back end, finishing with a faint warmth, as the alcohol is rather high for this style. (14.5% alcohol; bottled with a screwcap)
