Girard Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

Girard Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

SKU 45282

Aromatics suggest tobacco, bold black fruit and notes of graphite. On the palate, red, blue and black fruits are balanced by hints of currant, vanilla and mocha. The young tannins will evolve over time and help expand the long finish.

Wine AdvocateThe 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa, which is Girard's least expensive wine, has a healthy dark ruby/plum color, juicy blackcurrant and black cherry fruit, medium body and soft tannins. It is somewhat of a sleeper of the vintage at this price point and should be drunk over the next 7-8 years.

Wine EnthusiastSmoky oak and extracted tannin give this wine girth and concentration, as earthy compost, tobacco, black cherry and woody oak flavors mingle on the full-bodied palate.
