Goldeneye Ten Degrees Pinot Noir 2013

Goldeneye Ten Degrees Pinot Noir 2013

SKU 44704

Ten Degrees is the pinnacle of what we strive for at Goldeneye, offering a richness and texture that can only be achieved by an uncompromising focus on our estate vineyards. This wine proudly displays all of the unique characteristics from our four estate vineyards, balancing the lush texture of our Confluence Vineyard, the richness and opulent dark fruit of Gowan Creek, the structure and intensity of Split Rail, and the wild forest character of The Narrows. Ten Degrees finishes with satisfying notes of boysenberry, saddle leather and just the right amount of toasty oak.

Wine EnthusiastCellar Selection. Great aromatic complexity and richly layered fruit flavors propel this full-bodied, sophisticated and deep wine. An array of cinnamon, clove and cedar notes blend with ripe black cherry and blackberry, while firm, fine-grained tannins seem to lift them up. Best to drink after 2020.

Wine SpectatorThis is a dense, gutsy effort, deep and extracted, and as such, quite chewy and tannic. The flavors are complex, built around loamy earth, licorice and dried berry notes, and the tannins fairly swarm on the finish. Drink now through 2022. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. 1,035 cases made.
