Raimat Albarino 2017
|Region||Spain, Coster del Segre|
Wine SpectatorThis crisp white gives the impression of a fresh sea breeze. A bit briny and herbal, with citrusy acidity and a quinine note on the finish. A good shellfish wine. Drink now.
Wine EnthusiastAromas of yeasty citrus, fresh corn and lanolin announce a softer, warmer-climate Albariño than what most fans of the grape are used to. A solid but bland palate lacks lift and snap but isn't flabby. Peachy yeasty flavors are limited through the finish but never problematic.
