Of ruby red color, this special Cabernet Sauvignon shows black cherry aromas accompanied by chocolate and spices that enhance its elegance and complexity. On the mouth there is a unique combination between the Cabernet Sauvignon's intensity, provided by the vines located in our vineyard in Agrelo, combined by the silkiness of the tannins given by the old vines found in the first zone. A wine with a very long finish, its aftertaste shows chocolate notes and caramelized condensed milk (dulce de leche) flavors. Recommended to accompany strong flavored foods like lamb, beef and pork meats and gourmet pastas.

Wine EnthusiastSound as can be on the nose, with rubber, baked berry and pastry aromas. The palate has a very nice feel to it along with flavors of dark, rich blackberry, roasted black plum, chocolate, fig and mocha. Lush, modern and smooth, with just the right weight, kick and bite. Drink now through 2012.

Wine AdvocateThe 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Ultra saw 80% of the wine aged in French oak for 12 months. A glass-coating opaque purple color, it displays an expressive nose of cedar, spice box, black currant and blackberry. Full-bodied on the palate, it has spicy flavors, some structure, and good depth but the finish is a bit lean and clipped. Perhaps another 1-2 years of bottle age will round it out.

Wine SpectatorA solid, focused Cab, with a core of plum cake, raisin and black cherry fruit framed by lightly firm, bittersweet cocoa and toast notes. For fans of the slightly chewy style. Drink now.
