Produced with grapes from Maule, the 2015 Marques de Casa Concha Merlot comes from the zone of San Vicente, and contains 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. Some 10% of the volume matured in 5,000-liter botti while the rest was kept in barriques for some 15 months. It's soft, juicy and with nice balance. None of these wines have a very strong varietal imprint, but they are very approachable and easy to drink. 260,000 bottles produced.
Fresh and juicy, offering lively red plum, dried cherry and macerated berry flavors. The minerally finish lingers with savory notes. Drink now. 24,800 cases made.
This wine's dark berry aromas recall cassis and raisin. Citrusy acidity and hard tannins make for a lively mouthfeel, framing roasted plum and currant flavors. Mint and herbal notes linger on the finish, which is bold with acidity.
