Olivier Leflaive Puligny Montrachet 2014

This famous wine from our domain expresses noble and distinguished aromas with notes of citrus, beautiful minerality and toasted scents. The mouth is elegant and tonic with a very long persistence. It should be drunk between 2016 and 2019. Ideal with poultry cooked in sauce or grilled veal served with mushrooms, foie gras, lobster and crayfish, grilled saltwater fish and cheese such as goat cheese, Reblochon or Brie de Meaux.

Wine Enthusiast"Cellar Selection" The wine comes from the Leflaive home village and the blend (from more than 20 parcels) demonstrates the intimate knowledge the family has with its terroir. It has a fine balance between the ripe yellow and white stone fruits and acidity. These are given structure by the wood aging and strong mineral texture. This is still developing and still filling out, so drink from 2018.

Wine SpectatorA bracing white, whose acidity marshals lemon, green apple and baking spice flavors. Shows a hint of honey and ends with savory, salty notes on the finish. Best from 2018 through 2025. 804 cases imported.
