Korbel Rouge is a medium-dry champagne created from pinot noir and cabernet sauvignon grapes. With a distinctive red color, the aroma and flavor are those of intense black cherry, strawberry and plum. Approximately 1% residual sugar keeps it as dry as the Korbel Brut but removes any tannic bitter edge. Excellent with hearty pastas, red meats and robust seafood dishes. Excellent with a holiday turkey dinner.

Wine EnthusiastDark in color, almost red, and you might mistake it, blind-smelling, for a Pinot Noir, except for the doughy scent. Drinks rich and full-bodied, with raspberry-strawberry flavors. What’s neat about this bubbly is that your mouth can’t figure out if it’s dry or off-dry. It straddles that mysterious line perfectly.
