Frei Brothers Reserve Sauvignon Blanc 2018
|Region||California, Sonoma County, Russian River Valley|
This wine opens in steely green-apple and melon flavors before developing a robust richness in the glass. Rounded layers of flavor and texture give it a creamy, opulent character and lasting intensity.
The 2018 Sauvignon Blanc leaps from the glass with intense notes of warm grapefruit, white peaches and musk perfume plus hints of wild thyme, elderflower and gooseberries. Medium-bodied, the palate delivers tons of citrus and herbal flavors with a racy backbone and clean finish. 5,240 cases were made.
Crisp and bright, offering a lemon-lime mix of flavors, accented by notes of peach and lemongrass in the background, set on a refreshing frame. Drink now. 5,240 cases made.
