The 2019 Malbec De Sangre from Luján de Cuyo was aged for 12 months in new and used barrels. A vivid violet hue. The aromas include plum, spice and white pepper, with hints of menthol and bay leaf framed by notes from the aging process, such as caramel and biscuit. Indulgent with medium volume, the structure is delivered by the slightly reactive tannins. Leaves a whiff of plum behind at the end.

Rosemary and cinnamon notes are followed by concentrated plum and black cherry on the nose. This fruit-forward wine has moderate complexity delivering juicy black-fruit and baking-spice flavors. Slightly rough tannins and fresh acidity provide a good structure.

A suave red, with dried violet and floral raspberry notes that meld nicely around cardamom and mineral details. Finishes with herbal shadings and fine tannins. Drink now. 2,000 cases imported.
