Trapiche Broquel Malbec 2017
The oldest of the Trapiche brands, the 2017 Broquel Malbec was sourced from different vineyards in the departments of San Carlos and Tunuyán in the Valle de Uco. It fermented in concrete and stainless steel vats followed by malolactic in barrels and aged in new and used French oak barrels for nine months. It's clean and fruit-driven, quite straightforward, with some spicy flavors and aromas. The palate is soft and approachable. One million bottles produced. There are four bottlings from the same blend.
