Wine AdvocateThe three red wines from this producer are all well above average efforts with lots of flavor as well as Australia's so easily obtainable, lush fruit. The 2013 Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon (55% and 45% respectively) exhibits a dark ruby/purple hue along with a layered, peppery, berry fruit-scented nose revealing licorice and meaty notes. From a much lighter vintage, it is a supple, easygoing red to enjoy now and over the next several years.

Wine EnthusiastThis blend of 55% Shiraz and 45% Cabernet Sauvignon is full bodied and rather tannic, with dark notes that run the gamut from leather and grilled meat to espresso and mocha. Fortunately, the texture turns velvety on the finish, allowing some mouthwatering elements to shine through. Drink now-2020.

Wine SpectatorStarts off soft and ripe, but narrows on the finish, with tannins and earthy notes clamping onto the dark berry flavors, veering toward a red pepper character on the finish. Drink now. 7,500 cases made.
