This vintage is marked by exuberant fruit and ripe lush tannins. In fact, we aged our 2015 a bit longer in barrel to bring the exuberant fruit into balance and with the lush tannins and broaden the midpalate and overall mouthfeel. Aroma: In the glass, warm enveloping aromas of beeswax, powdery milk chocolate and ripe red cherries are layered with dark plum and baking spices. Flavor: Fruit forward with a smooth attack, flavors of strawberry jam yield to a mouthwatering and seamless mouth with a huge amount of length full of red fruit, powdery oak, creamy milk chocolate and pleasing tension.
