Buster's Liquors & Wines

An Entertaining Evening With Julia Reed

Doors will open at 6:15 for all who want to arrive early to enjoy a glass of wine with fellow audience members before the 7pm presentation by author and contributor to Elle Decor and Garden and Gun Magazine Julia Reed. A native of Greenville, Mississippi, Reed began working at Newsweek as an intern in 1977 before going on to become Contributing Editor and columnist there. She left Newsweek to become Contributing Editor at Vogue where she remained for 20 years. She writes regularly for the NY Times, Conde Nast Travel and the Wall Street Journal. Appreciated for her distinctly Southern take on entertaining, Reed will draw from her latest book, Julia Reed's South, Spirited Entertaining and High-Style Fun All Year Long. Decorative Arts Trust was fortunate to welcome Reed a number of years ago to a sold-out crowd. Known for her witty raconteur style of presenting, she is sure to be a crowd pleaser once again.

Admission is $25. Her book will be available for purchase and signing following the presentation.

Location: Buckman Auditorium, St. Mary's School, Walnut Grove at Perkins Extended
